"Cooperation with Kawasaki Puccetti Racing team will facilitate promotion of UMATEX products among the international manufacturers of motorcycle and automotive components, and it will bolster UMATEX brand position on the international market", noted Alexander Tyunin, CEO of UMATEX.

"Partnership with UMATEX, the Russian producer of carbon fibre and carbon products is of strategic importance to us, since more and more composites are used to make automotive and motorcycle components due to the unique properties of such materials", pointed Manuel Puccetti, Kawasaki Puccetti Racing team president.

The global annual consumption of carbon fibre by motorcycle component manufacturers is about 600 tons in the form of fabrics and prepregs.
